André Oliveira is back in Dublin! André will teach a Passinho and Funk workshop on the 11th of October, where participants will have the opportunity to learn and understand more about the passinho style and the funk culture. From the favelas of Rio de Janeiro to all over the world, Passinho is one of the forms of Brazilian street dance and mixes elements of samba, frevo, funk and Angolan kuduro. André Oliveira is a reference and a legend in dance. Andre is a dancer, teacher, choreographer, researcher and member of the groups Reis da Dança, Grupo Corre, Passinho Carioca Dance Company, Cia.Suave, Instrumento de Ver, Heavy Baile and choreographer of the group AfroBlack. He also is the star of the global Netflix documentary about passinho As a competitor, he won 20+ dance battles, including Red Bull Dance Your Style Brasil (2026 and 2024), Red Bull BCone, Red Bull Rabiscada (2026 and 2025), Renaissance Ball (Paris), Red Bull Dance Your Style Lollapalooza edition, AfterMath, Rio H2K, and MANY more! Throughout his career, Andre performed and led workshops in different countries including Portugal, Greece, Norway, France, Chile, Switzerland, Brussels taking his art and culture to the next level.
