Everyone gets to dance

We want booking a class on Dans101 to work for everyone, whatever device or assistive technology you use. We are working toward WCAG 2.1 AA and build with it in mind rather than claiming full conformance today.

What is in place now:

• Keyboard navigation with visible focus states on interactive controls.
• Reduced-motion support — animations, including the homepage globe, hold still when your system asks them to.
• Semantic headings and landmarks, and alt text on meaningful imagery.
• Color contrast checked against our dark palette for body text and controls.

Known gaps we are working on:

• Some older dashboard screens have inconsistent focus order.
• Video content does not yet ship captions.
